Students are taking on the role of wartime correspondents. That means they are journalists who report the news back to their country on events they have witnessed or are told about by other people who have experienced World War II.

They have to build a front page for their newspaper and publish it online.

• Their newspaper has asked students to not only find out about the events leading up to the war but also to compare the respective countries experiences.
•  Students use a project based web quest designed in Canvas in order to carry out their job as a war time reporter.
• In the process, they acquire new concepts and expand their vocabulary, research skills, content design and web authoring knowledge.
